Transparent Fee Policy

Membership & Institutional Affiliation Fees

Published fees support lawful administration, management, verification, technology, communication, human-rights awareness, education, compliance, and approved public-service activities. Payment never purchases membership, designation, office, influence, or authority.

01

Before choosing a category

Clear fees, controlled approval, no purchased authority

Every applicant and institution should understand these core principles before submitting an application or making a payment.

01

Application Remains Subject to Approval

Submission and payment do not guarantee membership, affiliation, category assignment, designation, or acceptance.

02

Category Is Not an Appointment

A membership category does not confer office, management powers, voting rights, fundraising authority, or permission to represent IHRM.

03

Fees Are Organisational Receipts

Fees support lawful institutional costs. They are not investments, loans, share capital, refundable deposits, or payments for influence.

02

Individual membership

Membership categories and initial fees

The applicant’s selected category is a preference only. The final category is assigned by the authorised administration after identity verification, document review, interview, eligibility assessment, and formal approval.

They are not required to be spent exclusively on the individual member or institution that paid them. No payer acquires ownership of organisational funds, assets, goodwill, intellectual property, accounts, or activities.
08

Payment and refund safeguards

Pay only through official channels

Applicants and institutions must verify the payment instruction and retain the official invoice, receipt, transaction reference, and confirmation.

Official Payment Procedure

  • Pay only into the officially designated bank account, approved gateway, authorised payment link, or another channel confirmed in writing by the Membership Secretariat.
  • Do not pay a personal account, unofficial wallet, unauthorised agent, or cash recipient without an official receipt.
  • The organisation is not responsible for payments made to impersonators, fake pages, unofficial accounts, or unauthorised persons.
  • USD fees paid in PKR shall use the conversion rate stated in the official invoice or payment instruction.
  • Bank, gateway, tax, conversion, courier, attestation, notarisation, and third-party costs may apply separately.

Refund and Cancellation

  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, processing, verification, interview, administration, card-generation, certificate-generation, and due-diligence charges generally become non-refundable once the relevant work begins.
  • A refund may be considered for duplicate payment, payment made in error, cancellation before substantive work, a legal requirement, or exceptional approval.
  • Approved refunds may deduct bank, gateway, conversion, tax, printing, courier, administrative, verification, and third-party costs already incurred.
  • No refund is ordinarily payable where suspension, cancellation, or revocation results from false information, forged documents, misconduct, unauthorised fundraising, identity misuse, or breach of policy.

Direct answers

Frequently asked questions

Concise answers for applicants, members, institutions, and third parties reviewing the fee policy.

Does payment guarantee membership approval?

No. Payment does not guarantee approval, category assignment, designation, office, affiliation, authority, or any other status. Every application remains subject to verification, interview, eligibility review, due diligence, and formal approval.

What are membership and affiliation fees used for?

Fees are organisational receipts used solely for lawful operational, administrative, managerial, verification, technology, communication, printing, professional, compliance, human-rights awareness, educational, public-welfare, and approved community-participation costs.

Does Executive Member or Patron Member mean an office-bearer position?

No. Executive Member and Patron Member are membership categories only. They do not confer an executive office, management authority, voting right, appointment, designation, fundraising authority, or permission to represent or bind the organisation.

Are membership fees donations or investments?

No, unless separately and expressly documented under a lawful charitable arrangement. Membership and affiliation charges are organisational subscription, processing, administration, verification, and service fees. They are not investments, loans, refundable deposits, share capital, or payments for influence or authority.

Can an affiliated institution use the IHRM name or logo after paying the fee?

Not automatically. Institutional affiliation becomes effective only after due diligence, competent approval, payment through an official channel, execution of a written affiliation agreement, and activation of the official record. Any use of the name, logo, or trademark requires written permission within the agreement.

Can payment be made to an individual member or office-bearer?

No. Payment must be made only through an officially authorised bank account, gateway, payment link, or another channel confirmed in writing by the Membership Secretariat, and an official receipt should be obtained.

What happens when membership expires?

Expired membership must not be represented as active. Verification status may be updated, the QR code or card may be disabled, and renewal remains subject to good standing, updated information, the prescribed fee, and administrative approval.

Does Trademark Registration No. 614993 approve the fee structure?

No. The trademark registration protects the registered composite mark within its registered scope. It does not constitute government or IPO approval of membership fees, affiliation charges, organisational status, charity status, tax exemption, designation, or authority.

Apply, pay, and verify only through official channels.

Membership and affiliation remain subject to review, approval, written authority, good standing, and public verification.
